Turning Everyday Spaces Into Lasting Impressions

Yilmaz Spaces started as Yilmaz Landscaping, a small operation in Flagstaff focused on transforming outdoor spaces across Northern Arizona. From the beginning, the work spoke for itself: clean installs, reliable crews, and results that held up season after season.

In 2022, Atif arrived in the United States with a fresh start and a strong work ethic. While working at the Grand Canyon National Park, he found more than just a job — he found inspiration. Surrounded by one of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world, he developed a deep appreciation for nature, detail, and the impact that well-maintained environments can have on people.

In 2024, that inspiration turned into action. The business was born not with a fleet of trucks, but with determination and a hatchback car — back seats removed to make room for a lawn mower and tools. Atif drove more than 180 miles back and forth, taking on any job, big or small. Every lawn mowed, every yard cleaned, and every customer served became a building block.

As trust grew, so did the business. By the end of 2024 a van was added, marking a new chapter of professionalism and capability. Atif also brought engineering experience from a well-respected contracting company, adding technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to every project.

In September 2024, Atif made the leap — leaving his full-time job to go all-in on the business. With a remodeling license now in progress and a growing list of residential and commercial projects, the company expanded beyond landscaping into full interior and exterior remodeling under the name Yilmaz Spaces. Today the fleet has grown to three vehicles, the scope covers everything from artificial grass and paver patios to full kitchen remodels and flooring — and the mission remains the same: to shape spaces with purpose, craftsmanship, and pride.
